  • Surveillance Linear conducts an in-house investigation on all cases free of charge prior to surveillance to insure the submitted information is as accurate and up to date as possible. Then, an on site investigation is conducted for 8-10 hours per day, dependent on claimant activity. Special requests are handled on a per case basis.
  • Background Investigation All criminal and civil checks are conducted through on-site searches at local and county courthouses nationwide.
  • Activity/Alive & Well Check These checks consist of an on-site inquiry into the level of activity of a claimant. They can be conducted by surveillance methods or through an onsite interview. Activity checks require a minimum of 4 hours.
  • Pre-Employment Screening Linear offers criminal history and registered sex offender searches for each state. Each screening is in full compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Pricing varies per state.
  • Locate Investigation Linear will exhaust all available databases and resources to locate and provide a current address and phone number for an individual.
  • Recorded Statements Linear will conduct and record an interview with an individual on site. A written report and transcript of the interview will also accompany the recording.
  • Motor Vehicle Records Driving records are available for each state. Prices vary.

7 Signs You Need to Hire an Investigator

  1. Claimant files their injury report on a Monday or late on a Friday — especially after extensive time off or a holiday.
  2. There was not a witness to the accident. Claimants description of the accident is unusually vague.
  3. You are unable to reach your claimant on the phone during the day. You are always leaving a message and the claimant only returns your phone calls instead of taking them.
  4. Claimant is habitually missing Doctor’s or Physical Therapy appointments. Claimant is uncooperative in their rehabilitation.
  5. Claimant is known to be the friend of another “claimant.”
  6. Claimant seeks legal representation prior to a conflict arising in the claim.
  7. Claimant has a history of filing claims.
